Software Updates
Updates to JJD are periodically posted for download on the web. JJD checks for available updates each time it is started and will offer
to install the new version for you. This means you should always be up-to-date with the latest version of JJD from Equussentials.
Current Version
The current verson of JJD is 4.9.12.2 which was released on October 8th, 2023.
- Fixed an issue that caused a delay when closing the Settings page.
- Made some minor changes related to the interface with GEO.

- The Farmtek data reader app has been updated to support
having the running time sent to JJD for display on the
scoreboard window. This includes the countdown timer too.
- New copy command line option added
to help quickly setup cards so you can copy the current class
specs to another class number.
- The card number now appears in the lower left corner of the
window for quick identification when you're running multiple
cards and the windows are overlapped on your screen.
- Fixed bug when interfacing with GEO that caused previous
horse/rider combinations to show up in the class list.
- Fixed bug in Table III (faults converted) that caused errors
if you changed the first round time allowed.

- JJD now interfaces with Global Entries Online to pull class
list information from GEO into JJD.
- The interface requires that you have an internet
connection from JJD to pull the class list information from
GEO. Once you've pulled a particular class list into JJD, an
internet connection is not required.
- In the JJD Settings dialog, check the Interface
with GEO checkbox and enter the GEO event ID in the
Event ID field in JJD.
- On the Manage Draw page in GEO:
- The event ID is displayed near the top of the page.
- The show office must click Send to JJD App
for each class.
- The rulebooks for USEF, EA and FEI have been updated to the
2017 versions.

- You can now display the fault count for each jump on the
Judge panel. To turn on and off this option,
use the Display Fault Counts checkbox on the
Settings dialog. For example, if three entries
knock down a rail at jump 7 and another has a refusal, you will
see the number 4 under jump 7 on the Judge
panel. This information is most useful to the announcer and
course designer. The fault count data is also saved to a
faultcounts.csv file for each class that the course designer can
open in Excel.
- The Stagger Viewer now has an expanded view that shows the
horse and rider. You can switch between regular and expanded
view with a new button on the title bar, or you can just
double-click on the title bar.

While entering jump results, you can now use the Shift+Enter
keystrokes to tab backwards.

The use of the Split function of the built-in timer has been
improved for Power & Speed classes.
- Fixed a bug that was causing the
class results email content to be cut off in the email window.

- The 45
second clock is now more useful as it can now be used to time
the horse & rider between obstacles. The 45 second clock was
